Thunder Let One Slip To Ravens

(New Haven, CT)- New Haven scored six runs in the 7th inning to rally for a 7-4 win over the Thunder Thursday night. Trenton squandered a 4-1 lead after six innings.
Trenton (11-21) got six solid innings from starter Casey Fossum, who allowed one run and four hits with a season-high 8 strikeouts.
The offense was supplied by C Kelly ramos (three-run HR in 2nd inning) and RF mark Fischer (RBI single in 3rd inning).
New Haven started their rally with a single by Taber Maier. That was followed by a double by Matt Garrick. Alex Eckelman scored both runners with a double to make it a 4-3 game. Later in the inning, Troy McNaughton ripped a three-run double to left that gave the Ravens a 7-4 lead.
Patrick Coogan got the win as he allowed four runs in seven innings. Jeremy Lambert worked the 9th inning for his 8th save.
The series continues on Friday night at 6:35 PM. Justin Duchscherer (2-2) starts for Trenton against New Haven`s Les Walrond (1-2).
